Sofia Mei Hua Choong was born at 7:06 am EDT on Sunday, March 23, 2008. Like her sister, Isabella, she was born at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, just outside the United States capital of Washington, DC. Sofia was born 8 lbs in weight and 21.25 inches in length.
Here we are in Mary and Sofia's hospital room with Grandparents Choong and big sister Isabella visiting. Grandpa Choong took our latest family picture with everyone looking at the camera but Isabella watching the television. Sigh!
But eventually big sister could not resist her curiosity and recognized (at least temporarily) that her little sister Sofia has finally arrived.
